Managing Security Tokens (NetSuite)

the access token is used to push payment status messages back into your netsuite to inform you of processing, succeeded and failed bill payments this token is created within netsuite during the installation wizard it is usually associated with the netsuite administrator who generated it during the install if netsuite administrator has their account or administrator privileges revoked (i e they leave your company), then this token will become void this means you may lose payment status updates for any payments made in the plugin, which can be frustrating and problematic this page will walk you through how to generate a new access token to replace the voided token id and token secret generated by the previous netsuite administrator, thus restoring the flow of payment statuses back into your netsuite environment need support? you can schedule a troubleshooting call or reach out to our support via the "contact us" list in the library on the left! step 1 log into fispan log in to fispan using one of these links clients in production https //sys fispan live/login https //sys fispan live/login clients in sandbox https //sandbox fispan cloud/login https //sandbox fispan cloud/login if you do not have a login, please contact support we will issue you an invitation to enable you to configure the netsuite connection step 2 deactivate and reactivate the netsuite connection upon successful log in, you should see a welcome message and netsuite under the connected apps heading click on the three dots on the top right corner of the netsuite box to open a small submenu, and then click on deactivate after clicking "deactivate" a pop up will appear onscreen prompting you to confirm click yes, uninstall app to proceed after clicking yes, uninstall app , netsuite will disappear from the connected apps heading of the page and appear below discover more hover your cursor over the netsuite box and click on the install button step 3 walkthrough the installation wizard after clicking install , you will be taken to the installation wizard the installation wizard has retained all information from the last time the wizard was completed as a result, you may skip through all steps prior to "creating a new security token" by clicking the next step button step 4 create a new security token on the "creating a new security token" step of the wizard, the old token id and token secret created by the last netsuite administrator has been retained these two fields must be replaced as they have become void in netsuite, navigate to the homepage find settings and select manage access tokens where the settings is located differs depending on how you have arranged content on your homepage by default it is found on the bottom left of the page on the my access tokens page, select the new my access token button on the access tokens page, the application must be defined using the application name drop down the application for your bank bundle was created automatically when the bundle was installed
