Step 19: Enabling Bank Feeds (Intacct)
the bank transactions that have settled the day before will be imported in the morning timing may vary depending on when the first pdr file is sent by the bank for example, today is wednesday this morning's transactions that have settled on tuesday will be pushed on today, wednesday, early in the morning step 1 locate the account go to cash management → checking on the checking page, select edit on the account you wish to turn on bank feeds for step 2 activate bank feeds under the banking cloud tab, click connect in the search bar search ‘commerce connections’ select commerce connections direct powered by fisan agree to the terms and conditions and select continue you will be redirected to a landing page that will require you to sign in to the fispan wizard select login now step 3 match account for bank feeds you must complete the account matching flow within 60 minutes or the wizard will timeout after logging in, select the account which you have selected in step 1 after you have selected the account, select save and finish you will automatically be redirected back to sage after being redirected back to sage, select the same account and select ok choose the date you want transactions to start from step 4 confirm bank feeds select confirm to confirm the activation of bank feeds, once the connection is successful, the status will change to connected if you are processing more than 100 transactions, we advise you to wait until the next day to see the transactions posted once the account is connected , go to cash management > reconciliation > bank and follow your native reconciliation process do not forget to add a rule set, that is an intacct requirement prior to starting the reconciliation if the account is in 'pending' status, it means that there have not yet been any transactions pushed for this account you will need to wait until there are transactions on this account before seeing marked as 'connected' multi account bank feeds setup sage bank feeds allows you to connect multiple accounts to the plugin once one bank account has been connected to bank feeds , other accounts can be connected in one go, via a financial institution connection confirm that both cash management and sage cloud services are enabled in the subscriptions section in the sage cloud services configuration, confirm the enable bank feeds checkbox is checked if this does not work, please contact sage support and ask to get access to financial institution step 1 set up financial institution first, one bank account needs to be enabled via the ‘traditional’ bank feeds method as seen above once that is completed go to cash management → set up → financial institution and create a new financial institution this allows the user to create a connection to the bank step 2 map accounts for bank feeds select map accounts and choose which accounts are to be enabled on bank feeds there is a 60 minute time limit between ‘map accounts’ and ‘save and continue’ if this action is not completed within 60 minutes, the connection process will fail, and the account will remain in a ‘pending’ state with no transactions coming in if there are over 100 transactions, the plugin will push them into the system in batches of 100 this may cause some transactions to appear at first and the rest will appear later typically it will take a few hours to view all your transactions after mapping the accounts, statuses can be seen in the accounts tab the transactions can then be observed by hitting ‘bank transactions’ in the cash management module, or by going through the reconciliation module
